So far we've spent every Saturday since we left Rochester going on a hike.
Roosevelt Park - Badlands
Table Rock - Boise, Idaho
It was 90+ degrees and pretty much no shade.

In hindsight, it's probably wasn't the best way to encourage our kids to hike, but we made it to the top!
View of Treasure Valley from Table Rock Hike - high desert area!
Sitting at the top of Table Rock
Sun Valley, Idaho Ski Hill (2 1/2 hours East of Boise)
Ponderosa State Park - McCall, Idaho (2 hours North of Boise)
Badger Mountain, Richland, WA (Tri-Cities)
Some friends took us on a great hike overlooking the Tri-Cities area before lunch at their home.

Saturday hikes is what I miss most about living in the mountains. One of these days I'll call you....it's been a busy September, but know you are missed!
