We stayed Sunday night w/ Sandy & Terry at their lake home.

Terry took us out for a cruise on the pontoon.
Sandy made a birthday cake for Autumn.
I've been wanting a camper really bad, but I've scratched that idea...decided I'll take a lake home instead! Doesn't hurt to dream right? Ahhh. Speaking of good things.....
Dad and I went for an awesome run while we were there. The setting: lake on one side, lush trees on the other, curvy, hilly road w/ lovely lakehomes. The smells: total FRESHNESS, lilacs scents incredible. But what made it even better: light rain (however by the end it was dark & thundering & lighting & downpouring & the others came looking for us), but we were on a HIGH. Runs like that are so so so worth it! As Lani would say: I heart Running in the rain. smile. double heart it.

Yay for running in the rain!!! ;) So glad you got to. And the fishing... and the boating... and the birthday cakes, too. No wonder you want to get a home on the lake instead.
Too bad we sold our lake house! We should have talked to you first. :) Seeing the kids fishing off the dock makes me really really REALLY miss our dock and lake life. We may be in CO, but our hearts are still by the lake in MN
