Some Summertime Activities

It's been awhile since I've updated. Here's a snipet of our fun days the past month...

summer just wouldn't be summer without a trip to the strawberry patch!





18 pounds later....

And I've serioulsy lost count of how many strawberry pies later!





First afternoon at the lake....
Had to take this pic of Chris and Mary to remember the prior funny moment (although I know Mary won't forget it!). She was driving the jet-ski and had just returned to the dock, and the water patrolman pulled up behind her. He said, I thought you were maybe too young to be driving that (have to be 16?). Boy did that make her day! So, here's to our 'teenage-looking' friends :) They certainly have the energy of teenagers.









Sunday afternoon Race/Walk for Ronald McDonald House. Our first event where the whole family ran!!










Races/Long Jump for kids are held at the local track on Tuesday evenings....
(note the last minute advice from dad....and the little boy in the orange shorts and then the seriousness of the boy in the yellow...fun just to watch everyone!)















Cousin Beau joined us for a day at the pool and sand play area. Most afternoons have been spent here!!
