7:00am - we're ready to catch the bus!!The weather couldn't have been better. It was about 45 degrees when we got up, but by the time we were done w/ the race it was about 65 degrees.
Dad ran the 10K and won 1st place in his age category! Maybe next year we can run this together?
Here we come....come on legs keep moving.
Our goal was to finish under 4 hours. We did it in 3:53.
I just saw on the records that I placed 5th in my age category. Now that's incentive
to try for a medal next year. Did I just say
next year AGAIN? Hmmm....I'm not committing yet.
The kids gave us roses.

Here we are in our "Finisher's Shirts/Jackets". We headed back up to the post-race party and Brendan got himself a big old hot-dog. NOT what I wanted after a race. I went for the DQ Blizzard, but unfortunately, my digestive track wasnt' quite ready for it...my organs needed a few hours to settle. I'll leave it at that.

Super impressive. Hurts my pride a little bit to admit it took me over six hours. I'll blame it on my IT band. Way to go, you guys!
