I hosted ladies night, with the help of Amanda and Jennifer. It was a picnic-themed party. Everyone brought their own sandwich and I supplied the sides, drinks & dessert (more strawberry pie). Guests were to bring a summertime recipe and/or summertime entertaining tip. Jennifer made these **scrumptious** chocolate-covered strawberries, and Amanda helped with decorations and other time-consuming, but fun things such as cutting cheese into shapes. About 14 ladies attended (and one very, very sweet little bundle who liked to smell the flowers!). After everyone left, Amanda and I sat outside - the lights/candles/torches made it so pretty...and no bugs yet!

I am REALLY, REALLY wishing I lived closer and could join in on these. This looks wonderful. We're planning a party on our patio tomorrow evening. Can't wait. Fingers crossed that the weather cooperates? I'm wondering if I can make pretty chocolate covered strawberries like yours? I'm not even going to attempt the fruit kabobs, but they sure look cute/pretty.
